matt565 Posted May 8, 2008 Report Share Posted May 8, 2008 I have a Z2 and it was freezing on the boot-up screen earlier today. I went to avic411 and searched the topic and I found that Pioneer had come out with an update to fix it. I burned it on a CD just as the instructions say, using NERO in mode 1, top layer, finalized disc and put it in the unit. It went through all the steps of the process and installed like 92 updates. Then after it finished with number 92, it said "program update failed...restarting". Now whenever I turn the truck on it goes to the update screen, then immediately says "program update failed". Then it will restart again and so on... This is ridiculous...any ideas? Matt Quote Link to post Share on other sites

dwhitley0381 Posted May 9, 2008 Report Share Posted May 9, 2008 does it ask you to retry if so put the disk back in and keep hitting retry it will keep updating and then it will finish but you will have to keep hitting retry. If not then do a reset. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
