mil0881
Hi Everyone I saw an old topic where someone said they used Roxio EZ cd creator to burn songs on to a dvd and was able to record onto a Z2 hard drive, I have been searching all over and have not been able to burn cd audio to dvd. Has anyone done this successfully and what did you use? Thanks
palacios
What some were doing was creating a DVD by converting their MP3 files into VOB files. By doing this, your AVIC is "fooled" into thinking that it is playing a normal DVD but since the only thing in your VOB files is sound, that is all that will be played. Since the MP3 converted VOB files don't take up much room, you can fit a ton in a DVD but your AVIC will not record them. All it's going to do is play them as it would a normal DVD. Depending on what program you use to do the conversion, you may be able to have a menu in the background that displays Album, Artist, Title, Genre, etc. If your program is capable of making a menu, the menu would take the place of "the movie" is your DVD. Good luck!
