MylesG23
With how to "ground" the parking brake wire to the ground wire. How exactly do I have to do that? Thanks!
VBLUE42
Splice them together and ground them. But if you have to ask such an elementary question, you probably should have it professionally installed. No offense, it just seems like a better idea to me.

CatchMeIfYouCan631
But if you have to ask such an elementary question, you probably should have it professionally installed. No offense, it just seems like a better idea to me. everybody hasta start somewhere, dont put the guy down. to ground something out means to give it a negative power source...its really easy. before u do anything, goto a pep boys or a home depot....ask for 2 T-splices...im assuming uve moved the pin already since your question was about the grounding method.....so take the mute wire and the parking wire (black/yellow and light green) and splice them together with one of the t splices, leaving a few inches on the green wire. now take the slack from the green wire and splice it with the unit's ground wire....its the solid black wire on the main connector. IF YOU HAVENT DONE THE MUTE WIRE YET, all you do is remove the pin in the connector and insert it into the slot directly behind it, and make sure its fully secured.
