Installed D3 with adapters. 50% working. Neeed help.

Recommended Posts

I installed all the adapter today for my Pioneer AVIC-D3.

The following are the adapter:

GMOS-04

SW1-PS

CD-BTB200- Blue tooth adapter

CD-1200 - Ipod apadter

Boyo VTL420 - Liscense Plate camera

So here are my issues:

1. Boyo VTL420 Will not show video. I ran the wires correct. I have a multi-meter, and it shows power and ground up to the front; along with video. [my guess is that the camera is bad]

2. Ipod connect (CD-1200) All it does is charge the Ipod, it does not play, pause, skip, or do anything else in Ipod mode.

3. SW1-PS (steering wheel control). Ran the wire and program under #1 fine. The programing works when the vehicle is on, then when the vehicle is off, but power is still on (before you open the door) it scan through the preset radio buttons non-stop

What is the problem or fix? Can anyone help please????

1) You have to turn your camera on in the settings menu.

2) What type of ipod do you have ?
