N2 Install 2002 escalade

Hi guys i needed some help with my install on my escalade. I wanted to try and do it myself before i payed someone to do it, because i thought it would be fun.

 

 

a few problems i'm having is...

 

1. The PAC module OEM1 bose converter that i have had one side that goes into the factory wiring harness. The other side had 18 wires i believe coming out of it. So all i did was connect the color wires from the pioneer n2 wiring harness to the interface module. However some wires did not have a match from the module to the pioneer n2 wiring harness. Just wondering if this was normal, and all i did was tape the wires togethor and left them. Just wondering if this was a correct thing to do?

 

 

2. Just wondering where i could put the brain unit in the escalade. I was thinking about putting it under the center console, but i was having a hard time taking the trim pieces out. Just wondering how i can take the pieces of the dash apart.

 

3. How difficult of an install is it on this unit? I'm not hooking up the steering wheel controls or anything so i figured it would be pretty easy. Any help would be amazing.
