installermarc
Well, I thought I saw it coming, but my rep just informed me the F series will no longer be produced until certain "bugs" are worked out of the software, mostly to speed it up to a normal speed. He had no idea if Pioneer was going to send a software patch to customers (like me) that are tired of waiting on the stupid thing or if they will be replaced. My guess is a patch. Hope this helps everyone out there.
skicrave
Hopefully they can get the F-Series to where it needs to be by fixing the dozen or so documented bugs that nearly all owners seem to be encountering, and by adding the basic functionality, like instant loading of the OS, immediate BlueTooth pairing, proper TTS support, etc.
m3the01
Any truth to this? I know they holding off on shipments, but from what i was told the pre-production test models were fine and there were no software changes since then. So that means someone used different parts during manufacturing.
