doubledrop Posted August 3, 2008 Report Share Posted August 3, 2008 hello all i have an AVIC-D1 and trying to connect the sdv-p7 to control via the D1. I also ordered one of the trunk moiunt kits for the sdv-p7. The AV-BUS cable though is female and male connections, and from what I can tell, the AV-BUS out on the P7 is female and so is the AV-BUS in on the D1. Are there gender switcher connections for AV-BUS? or do I need to find a male to male AV-BUS cable? But, since the connections are not labled on a P7 and the install manual is useless I am not 100% sure. Using the other AV-BUS connection on the P7 yielded no picture on my D1. doubledrop Posted August 4, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 4, 2008 think i have it figured out i don't have the orig av-bus cable that was shipped with the P7, which looks to be male to male. I bought the trunk mount kit which is just an extension to that original cable. Found the 3m male to male cable online. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
