AVIC ALTIMA Posted August 6, 2008 Report Share Posted August 6, 2008 Hi, I will be installing my deck this weekend and wanted to find out a couple of things beforehand. Firstly, where is my VSS wire and what do I need to do with it (connect it to where)? Do i just tap into it? Is it mandatory to connect to it as well? Also, the illumination wire - where would i find that and does that have to be done for sure as well? Is it on teh wire harness or some place else? PLEASE ANY HELP WILL BE VERY USEFUL!!! THANKS!! MisFit Posted September 19, 2008 Report Share Posted September 19, 2008 Radio Illumination red/blue (parking lights), red/yellow (dimmer) +,- radio, white 20 pin plug, pins 9 and 8 Speed Sense purple/white 8-Pulse instrument cluster, white 40 pin plug, pin 31 May only be present on vehicles with BOSE or Bluetooth. Also found at the BOSE radio, white 20 pin plug, pin 18 (without Bluetooth) or the Bluetooth Control Unit, white 32 pin plug, pin 28 (with Bluetooth). The Bluetooth Control Unit is under the rear deck on the sedans and in the driver side of the trunk on the coupes. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
