jroth142 Posted August 10, 2008 Report Share Posted August 10, 2008 Hey guys, in the process of trying to install my D3 from my old car (used the unit for about 4 months total) into my 02' tahoe. Just hooked connections up to make sure everything was working properly and noticed the problem. Works great at lower volumes but if I turn it up or turn the EQ gains up the sound just quits altogether. The unit still has power, just no sound. If I turn it off and back on the sound will work again until the volume is turned up. My tahoe does not have the BOSE system so I'm not using any amp interface, just connecting wires directly to the harness. I believe its just the upgraded DELCO system, 9 speakers total I think.
