Cirbirus
My install cost was about $4; I had to get some more wire tap connectors. The local Sound Advice wanted $400 to install it, another shop wanted $800 (?!), and another shop wanted about $500. I had already decided to install it myself but I wanted to make sure I want't wasting my time. It took me about 12 hours spread over a single weekend. But I installed it properly, running wires inside existing wire guides, keeping power away from speaker wires, building a shelf to hold the expansion units (Sirius and iPod). It left me with a great sense of accomplishment when I was done. I've since installed an Xbox and am now installing a dedicated touch screen for the Xbox that will go in the spot where the factory Nav system would go (space is too small for Z1).
