djmix346
I am new to the boards and I just installed the avic f900 and received some great help from all of you about the ground mod. I was driving around today and trying the Blue tooth and trouble shot this thing with a friend on the line. I moved the mic to about 6 inches from my face and they said it was a thousand times better and crystal clear. I then mounted the mic on my visor so that when I am on the phone I can lower my visor to get the mic at the desired distance. I have a feeling that the microphone is cancelling out the noise and if you are to fare away you will not be picked up. Give it a try and let me know what works. Gortok
Rats! I was hoping for a more stealthy install of the mic...
djmix346
You may be able to enbed the mic in your Visor just under the fabric. The other option is to have the mic so that you can clip it on when someone calls and put it away when you don't want to use it.

djmix346
Ok I went back to read the instillation instructions and I must say that Be** Bu* Needs to do the same thing. They installed the unit and the directions say to mount it on the Visor or on the steering column. If I would have installed the unit myself I would have saved a lot of time, effort, and money. I was just feeling lazy. Any who let me know if this works for anyone else having the Blue Tooth phone problem.
