KATY
I just installed my avic-z1 and I was trying to connect my phone via bluetooth but whenever i try it says "connection failed" I tried the small troubleshooting the manual has but nothing worked. I tried with my ppc 6700 (which I've read has good compatibility) and the samsung upstage. I also tried connecting directly from my ppc but my phone also said it couldn't connect. any ideas? could it be the bluetooth receiver? but i dont think so bc the z1 finds it and connects to it, and all the phones are found by the receiver, but it just won't connect. thanks. Cleatus
I had the same problem with my iPhone, until I put a pass code in the AVIC and then the same on the phone? Good luck. also had to initiate the connection from the phone.
