CDN James
has anyone played with or figured out how to do as the D3 models where you can not have the map locked to north and the arrow always pointing upward? also one thing i really miss from the D3, is the multi route, not where you preselect it and it auto routes you.. but shows you the different routes available and you select next unitl you like that route? these are two things that really makes me wish i never changed from D to F .. other than the really outdated maps
CatchMeIfYouCan631
Unfortunately, the North heading in 2D hasnt been cracked yet, but rest assure someone out there is working on it. and the F series doesn't have Multi Route IIRC

I can't believe Pioneer would lose such a feature, one that NO one else offered .. really a great feature that no one else had, and now they don't either...

bashed1
What medriver said, Pancho - and both threads are stickied right at the top of this same forum you posted in.
pancho_pantera
I should have rephrased what I said, I meant figuring out how to bypass the 500BT unit because the wire and software mods dont work on it. I have tried them both and both dont work.
bashed1
Oh, sorry Pancho - I've got the F90BT; the wire bypass works great on it. Didn't know that neither worked on the 500; hopefully someone will figure out a bypass for that unit.
