One doesnt happen all the time, when i hit the blue button to turn the onstar on I get alot of beeping/chirping and noise but the onstar works. It is just a pain to try to listen over the noise. Sometimes its clear as a bell though, sorta. Which brings me to my next problem. The audio comes through my tweeters which at 85 mph on the higway sounds like headphones turned up really loud. This head unit was installed at the dealership when I got the truck new but I have no confidence in them fixing it because I already had them look at it once with no luck. I am no expert but im handy enough with a multimeter and a soildering iron. Any advice would help. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

H3Driver Posted September 19, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 19, 2008 nope I have not taken it out of the dash yet. I wanted to try to get some direction before I ripped it out. I guess i need to get in there and take a few notes of how things are hooked up. I see questions about how/what is instaled coming. While I am in there i also want to add the Ipod cable and connect the DVD for the rear of the truck up to one of the aux inputs. they did the audio but not the video why i have no clue.
