fsuwade01
this is what i did to install it i first removed the dash trim and pulled the factory radio from the truck
fsuwade01
Then i cut the some plastic out so that the d3 would go in.
fsuwade01
then i took the top of the dash off. you will need to remove 7-8 botes and pull off the top of the dash. then i hooked the wirring up to the harness and hid them behind the dash back in the back of it
fsuwade01
now i have not got the blue tooth yet but working on it and i do not have the xm yet but you can look at the other post that i linked at the top to see how to get it set up but i did put in the older ipod adapter in the same place that the other guy did. now i did make some mods to the little opening where my ipod is so that i can keep my ipod touch there and then keep my 120 gb classic ipod for the video in the glove box as shown and if my wife and i go on a road trip she can hook up to it also. so yes that means i have two ipods hooked at once to the D3. all you have to do is just use the old ip bus ipod hook up to get the second ipod hooked to the d3 and just use the ipod cable to hook up the first one. the only thing that you have issuses with is that you have to switch back and forth from each of them on the main menu. jlong1987
grounding the RCA's will help out a lot. Especially if you have multiple amps running
fsuwade01
well i went to wal mart and bought a scosche car stereo inline nosie suppressor for like 15. and it fixed most of it. but i still hear a little wine in the background but not as bad as i did. i just connects to the rca's and then to the head unit's rca's. so i hope that helps
jlong1987
again grounding the RCAs would help if it is still bothering you
