buskeyl
I am looking for someone who has, or has access to a XDV-P6 6 disc changer coupled with a Z1 or D2 unit. I want to find out details on how interface works and what infromation on the MP3 / WMA disk are displayed on the head unit. Lee
jimmy303
The piece interfaces beautifully, full control, MP3 tags work, sturdy unit.

jimmy303
Mine is run through the av-bus in on the tv tuner (GEX-P5700TV), but I had to use an rca into the tuner. The tuner then goes to the Z1 ip/av bus.
Corey497
AV or IP?? I have the IP bus cable starting at: 6dsk ~> XM ~>Tv ~> Z. Then an RCA from Tv ~> Z. I got nothing when i used the AV to go from the 6dsk ~> Tv ~> Z. Even with the setting changed... O well
jimmy303
I don't know whether you actually need the av bus connected, but I left mine in, but added an rca from the xdv-p6 to the front video on the tv tuner
buskeyl
I was looking for some visual feedback on how the Z1 or D2 screens look when playing back mp3 digial audio from the unit. For example, does it inentory all the disk for MP3's, and give me the option to play a genre acorss disks? If not, can I do so on a per disk basis, or is it just basic mp3 playback, track 1 - 50, in order, displaying Id3 tags as it goes. That dort of thing.. Lee
