Can you plug in your ipod or iphone to play videos or a gaming console into the avic z1? Is there a place where I can buy a microphone for the z1 since mine wont be coming with one =\? Lu Scola Posted October 30, 2008 Report Share Posted October 30, 2008 You can not use your ipod to play videos on your Z1. It will only play music from the Ipod. You can hook up a gaming console to the Z1. Technicly you can play videos on the Z1 with your Ipod but it will be from a ipod AV cable. You will have to watch the ipod on A/V 1 and not the Ipod button in the source screen menu. You will not be able to control the ipod via the Z1. I have a Ipod module for the Z1 if you need one cheap.
