jar703
Hey, can somebody help me out how to install my pioneer ipod adapter cd-ib100 to avic n1.. I connected the ip bus cable and everything but I still can't figure out how to work it. I don't know if the adapter itself is broken because I bought it used. I tried following the instruction in the manual but I don't see the function selection on the screen. Help please! Thanx
cntrylvr79
Make sure the ip-bus cable is plugged into the output of the ipod interface. Also make sure the yellow wire is hooked up to a constant power source and the black wire is hooked up to a solid ground. Now plug the ipod cable in the dock connector. When your looking for the source list, the ipod will be ext-1. The n1 doesn't list the ipod as ipod since the interface was released after the n1 was built.
jar703
So I need that yellow and black harness... It didn't come with it when I bought it. I thought I only had to plug in the ip-bus cable... You know where I can get those yellow and black wires? Thank you
diskzero
You could contact Pioneer directly. I don't see that specific part on a parts list. If you are comfortable, you could try and fabricate a connector and run a ground and fusable power lead. It sounds like a lot of hard work though.
