Delphinus Posted September 25, 2006 Report Share Posted September 25, 2006 I saw on my box that mine was manufractured in June 06. When ist was installed i found that I get a message at start up about the barking brake not connected. Does that mean in is not grounded at all? I also found that the unit does not dim when my lights are turned on. I have to take it back to the installer to correct that, when it is there what do I tell him I want to do with the parking brake ground wire? Thanks. jimmy303 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Share Posted September 25, 2006 Either connect the brake lead to the parking brake, or leave it disconnected. Do not leave the wire grounded if you are trying to bypass the video lockout. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
