Below is what your installation manual says. Basically it's telling you the blue lead is a signal lead only to signal your antenna to raise or lower if you have this type of antenna. If you don't then don't use the blue lead. The blue/white lead is a signal lead to signal an external amp to turn on if you have one. If you don't then don't connect this lead to anything. Neither of these wires are power leads, they're only signal leads and aren't to be used to try to power anything. I don't see where there's any conflicts here.

Notice for the blue lead

- A signal is output through the blue lead to

control the antenna of your vehicle. The

timing varies depending on the setting. (For

more detailed information on changing

[Ant CTRL] mode, refer to “Operation Manualâ€.)

- When [Ant CTRL] mode is set to [Radio],

the vehicle’s antenna can be stowed or

turned off by following the instructions

below.

— Change the source from radio (AM or

FM) to another source.

— Turn the source off

— Turn off the ignition switch (ACC OFF)

- If [Ant CTRL] mode is set to [Power], the

vehicle’s antenna can be stowed or turned

off only when the ignition switch is turned

off (ACC OFF).

- Do not connect this lead to the system control

terminal of external power amps.

- Be sure not to use this lead as the power

supply lead for the auto-antenna or antenna

booster. Such connection could cause

excessive current drain and malfunction.

Notice for the blue/white lead

- When the ignition switch is turned on (ACC

ON), a control signal is output through the

blue/white lead. Connect to an external

power amp’s system remote control terminal

(max. 300mA 12 V DC). The control signal

is output through the blue/white lead,

even if the audio source is switched off.

- Do not connect this lead to the auto-antenna

relay control terminal or the antenna

booster power control terminal.

- Be sure not to use this lead as the power

supply lead for the external power amps.

Such connection could cause excessive

current drain and malfunction.

take quote from manuel page 6-7 (bue lead)

"- Be sure not to use this lead as the power

supply lead for the auto-antenna or antenna

booster. Such connection could cause

excessive current drain and malfunction"

then go to page 11 look at picture , look at blue wire .

" to auto antenna relay control . if veichle has a glass antenna connect to the anntena booster power control terminal . "

.

All I am wondering is where do I hook up the blue wire that comes with the antenna adapter ?

thanks
