kingchkn Posted January 28, 2009 Report Share Posted January 28, 2009 Anyone else having an issue updating the unit? I downloaded the firmware. Used both Winzip and Winrar to unzip and I cannot get the unit to read the firmware at all. I used the same card that I used to perform the software mod. I can get into the testmod but I take that off and place the firmware on and just can't get the update to work. I am having the same issue with the Bluetooth update. Anyone have any ideas on what may be wrong? I would call Pioneer but they close at 7:30 EST. Thanks. EDIT I FIGURED OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. . . Anyone who used the 700/900BT data.zip to perform the software mode on the 500BT cannot apply the 2.0 Firmware update. Make sure you download the 2.0 and install the data.zip WITHOUT the software mod first. Go through the steps to update to 2.0 THEN perform the software mod using the data.zip file are all will be well. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
