bowdent Posted January 28, 2009 Report Share Posted January 28, 2009 Hi Folks I've purchased an Avic 900BT to replace my oem stereo in my 2008 Ford S-max. The only two problems I have is trying to locate the Ignition activated power wire and the Speed Sensor wire. I have purchased the correct wiring harness, but where the ignition wire should be, is blank! Apparently this is common on Fords? Secondly is I need to locate the Speed Sensor / Speed Sensor wire to connect it up properly. Do any of you clever people know where I might find it or what colour it is? Any help would be much appreciated - I'm becoming desperate after my local 'professional' stereo fitters suggested I took my pioneer unit back, and just bought a portable sat nav unit!
