Borders Posted January 28, 2009 Report Share Posted January 28, 2009 I loaded about 10 Cd's in my new Z3. They all showed on the screen with the correct titles. Then one day, the titles went away and they all just had dates for the titles. I know the titles come from the gracenotes database. Is there a way to get them to rescan and add the titles back? If there were multiple options for the title information, you can select one title from them. ❒ Music recognition technology and related data are provided by Gracenote®. Gracenote is the industry standard in music recognition technology and related content delivery. For more information visit www.gracenote.com. ❒ Once you update the title information, the information you edit before will be overwritten by the title information of the Gracenote® Database. 1 Select the playlist in [Albums] group, and enter the playlist edit mode or track edit mode. ➲ “Switching to the edit mode†➞ Page 115 2 Touch [update Title]. Information search begins. When the title information is obtained, the candidates screen appears. 3 Select the desired album title from the list. Borders Posted February 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 20, 2009 We downloaded the Gracenote database and burned a few cd-roms. When they are inserted in the unit, it indicates that it is reading the disk but nothing comes up after that. After a little research, we found that the update does not work on the Z3. We are sending the unit back to the Pioneer and they are going to update it and send it back. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

This takes precedence over gracenote, the Z will take the titles from the CD when you rip it to HD. Tedious way is to edit the titles on the Z afterwards... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
