mattnday
I just picked up a new 2008 F150 XLT My current set up is 6 disk changer - back up camera - sirius I am looking to upgrade this set up to include bluetooth and nav I am considering 2 options: 1)FD71 and a bluetooth adapter - possibly parrot ck31oo but undecided - This seems to be the cheapest way for me to go and allows me to keep the changer. 2)Pioneer F700 My question is what modifications if any would be necessary to make the F700 work with the existing back up camera and sirius. I think I would prefer this route but do not want to spend a ton of many as it a work truck and i will only have ti for 3 years.
jmmorgan82
I have a 2007 F150 so install would be similar. For the backup camera, head over to www.f150online.com. There are a few threads there about what you have to do to get the camera functioning (a couple splices and a little solder, easy to do). As far as the factory Sirius, all you can re-use is the antenna. I think the Sirius modules you would need come out to around $100 extra but I could be wrong about that.
