You can not use a USB only ipod cable, the AVIC uses USB *only* to charge and control the ipod, all audio and video goes into the AVIC from the RCA jacks, thus you need the cable with both USB and RCA, and they all need to be hooked up. USB only cable will let you control the ipod, but you'll get no sound. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
