JeromeS13
Ok. I recently installed the F90BT and I like it so far, despite the slow bootup times. But, I have one small quirk I need help on. I've searched through the forums and have only found a million posts where people ask about the North heading in 2D mode... But, I have yet to find anything regarding mine. Here goes: Sometimes, when my car is at idle or I turn around in a parking lot, the compass/map heading on the map is totally inaccurate. Like, I'll be facing west and the map still shows me pointing east or similar. I've tried rotating the position of my antenna, but it still seems to default to the same inaccurate heading. Any ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated. -Jerome
S4
There was a thread recently with someone that had the same issue as you. Can't remember the name of the thread though. I don't think he found the solution either.
carlsbad0331
Ive occasionally had this issue since day one... 80% of the time its correct, and quite frankly as long as the map shows me at the correct place and going in the correct direction... why do we need to know what direction that is? JeromeS13
It's always correct, when I'm moving. There's been times when I missed a turn or made a quick stop at a convenient store and my heading was incorrect. This caused me to make an unnecessary u-turn more than once...
