xgoochx Posted February 13, 2009 Report Share Posted February 13, 2009 Hi, all, my problem is I recently had the unit installed by my buddy at Best Buy and did the hardware by-pass. While in park it plays video from my Ipod. Once I begin to drive at approximatly 10 mph I get the error screen about playing video while driving and have to hit the okay button.I have sound but lose the video. Once below 10 mph I get the video back. I have no problem picking or adding a destination while driving but no video. Any ideas what the problem could be, a ground wire loose or something. faelok Posted February 14, 2009 Report Share Posted February 14, 2009 sounds like your buddy just gounded the parking break wire which will not completely bypass the unit. either do a software bypass http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17715 or pull out the unit and do the hardware bypass correctly. although it is strange that you can use your navi without issue. do you have full access to all it's functions (over 10mph)? and can you adjust the navi and av settings while driving as well?
