traffic jams
I have a 2004 f150 in my bay that i installed the f90 into in September. Anyway it is now back and the sound repeatily cuts on and off for just a second or so each time. Also the voice that comes on and tells you when to turn does not make a sound. Has anybody had a similar problem or know of a fix for this issue? I have checked all amp/speaker wiring and replaced the amps. I also plugged a basic head unit in and didnt have a problem with the sound cutting out. If anybody out there knows a fix, please let me know asap. It would be highly appreciated! thanks, Cole Traffic Jams of Picayune
CatchMeIfYouCan631
It is possible that the unit is defective. Does it happen when the car is not moving, or only when he's driving? If it's only when he's driving it could be a short somewhere, or perhaps a speaker went bad and is cutting all the sound out.
traffic jams
When he called my and told me that it was cutting out, he said it was when it was moving. So when he brought it in, i hit the reset button and drove it up the block. It still does it, so i then pulled it into the bay and let it play, it does it sitting still. Im pretty sure the speakers are fine, cause it cuts the sound off to the aftermarket sub and amp also. Please keep the ideas coming. Thanks!
