jimmy303 Posted October 20, 2006 Report Share Posted October 20, 2006 The VSS wire on the Pioneer navigation units is not absolutely necessary, the system will track off of the GPS satellite signal and still work well. But the VSS wire keeps the system much more accurate, especially if you use the 'time to destination' feature. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
