HT2 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Share Posted March 5, 2009 I am thinking to get Ipod and I already have Ipod interface for D3. I searched one hour but still confused. With Ipod interface. Ipod video (5th and 5.5 gen): Can control and play audio and video. Ipod classic: Can control and play audio and video if you down grade firmware. Ipod Nano up to 2nd gen: Can play video but not control from D3. ALL Ipod Video, Classic, Touch and Nano: Can control and play audio. With RCA input: ALL video/audio player with RCA out can play audio and video but D3 cannot control. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
juiced_rl Posted April 26, 2009 Report Share Posted April 26, 2009 I can verify that iPod Classic running downgraded firmware 1.0.2 will play music controlled through the head unit and will play videos but you need to go through a few hoops before they will play.
