velcroflyer
I had a F90BT installed in my G35 earlier this week and everything worked fine. Today, I had the PAC installed for the steering wheel controls and the hardwire bypass done. Once it was all finished, I found when the Ipod is being used there is no volume control and no video. I can turn the knob on the unit itself and it will not change the volume. There is also no video from the Ipod now. I can hear the video playing just nothing on the screen. All the other Ipod controls work fine. Anyone got any ideas on what is going on? I already tried resetting the unit. I also pulled it out and checked the wiring which all looks good. Just to clarify, I have sound from the Ipod, it's rather loud, but it is there. I also have full control over the ipod from the head unit. The only things I don't have is volume control, I can't turn it up or down and there is no video displayed.
MegaMan X
just to make sure because I don't want to assume.... but you also made sure AV1 is set to iPod right?
2k5GTC
You also have the Ipod cable with the RCA connectors right? No way to see video or hear sounds without it. The USB only controls the Ipod functions. I found that out today when I tried my wifes Ipod.
velcroflyer
I just checked it and AV1 is set to Ipod. The cable is the one with the USB and RCA. They are all attached correctly.
