Tuning Haus Posted March 21, 2009 Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 hey guys, i recently purchased garrettoomy's z3 hard drive upgrade. i also did the 2-wire by pass as well. it was working okay for a short period but when i tried to upload my bluetooth cricket phone... the screen/z-unit froze!!! this specifically froze when i tried to retype my password into the AVIC (blue tooth connection). i turned the car off and re-started it, but it was still very slow/frozen. at least the touch screen was.. the only thing that was working properly was the volume. is there an over heated safety mode? the 2 wire by pass mod, i grounded the 2nd wire together with the light green wire... is that a big no no or would that be fine? thanks for any and all help Quote Link to post Share on other sites
