When installing the unit, i didn't connect the Auto-Antenna wire (the blue one from the power cord). can it be the reason? For what is this wire used? Thanks. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
cmh928 Posted March 24, 2009 Report Share Posted March 24, 2009 As long as your FM tuner has good reception, you're all set. I couldn't get it to activate via the web even though it said it was successful. If you call the 800 number that the unit displays in the activation screen, it will activate within 20 minutes. Overall, it's a nice feature for gas prices and weather, but movie times are hit and miss and traffic is so-so. Doubt I keep it after the trial expires. Mike Quote Link to post Share on other sites
xero8p Posted March 26, 2009 Report Share Posted March 26, 2009 if you used the hd radio tuner and only have an antennae on it is another cause. the msn data is only received through the head unit antennae plug so you need to make sure you use a splitter Quote Link to post Share on other sites
