If it does, file a warranty claim and I'll send you a new one. It's a very short process that goes something like this: Tom, My knob has wear marks on it from me turning it and twisting it (insert laughter here) and I would like my knob replaced with a new one. (My sides are starting to hurt so I have to stop) Seriously it won't wear off. If it does, your abusing your knob and you should let your wife/girlfriend handle it.
