veeslim Posted October 19, 2006 Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 Installed a Z1 (aug06) in a 07 Chrysler Aspen using the Scoche Can Bus Interface. When driving the unit powers off then comes back on like nothing happen. Anybody else had this problem? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
mjwaterma Posted October 19, 2006 Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 Does yours completle restart like you turned it off and turned it back on? If so, I have had the same problem in my G35. I thought I may have a loose connection or I forgot to connect the grounding wire or something. It only happens when I hit a bump. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
veeslim Posted October 19, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 No mine acts like the key in turned off and back on, and it only does it while driving it works fine while sitting still in park. I'm going to change my 12volt connection from the Can Bus interface to one from another source and see if it still happens. P.S. The bypass works fine. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
