bsnively
I've been researching and am trying to find out how long it takes for the F900BT v2.0 unit to start up and have the standard fm radio start playing. So for - it look like I've found these numbers (feel free to correct) iPod - 35 seconds Satellite Radio - 35 seconds Navigation (depending on signal) - 40-60 seconds Phone - 1:35 seconds I haven't found anything AT ALL - about how long it takes for CD Player w/ mp3s on it or the Radio. These are the two I really care about the most. Any insight? Thanks, Ben
PeterUbers
Look into the Kenwood 6140 .. it'll be another 300 dollars... but you'll get quick loading: Nav: 20 seconds Last source to play: 6 seconds Ipod: 6 seconds CD: 6 seconds Full Menu usability: 8-10 seconds Reverse Cam: ***instant when you shift into reverse at ANY time*** Just my 2 cents.. I returned two F90bt's b/c they were buggy...
bsnively
Thanks for the quick reply and very useful info. what was buggy about it? I was actually comparing the 900, the eclipse 762E, and the kenwood 8120. I really wanted to be able to customize the button color (rather than just blue and blue/red). I am ok w/ the slow loads - especially if it starts playing the cd w/in 6 seconds. I am interested in other issues you may had though... thanks, Ben

Fen911
You can use the volume as soon as the radio starts playing.
