santinod15 Posted May 14, 2009 Report Share Posted May 14, 2009 so after much headache with the shop who i bought the F900bt from and them telling me they cant do it, i did the hardware bypass myself. moved the mute wire from pin 1 to pin 4 and grounded it. then grounded the parking brake wire just the same. this is allowing me to watch video til 20mph. then it shuts the screen off. how can i allieviate this??? today is the start of a 7000 mile road trip and ide really like to have my video in motion working! thanks!! wiretap Posted May 14, 2009 Report Share Posted May 14, 2009 The easiest most reliable way is the hardware bypass. 1. Move the mute wire ( like you said you already did ) 2. Ground the mute wire and parking brake wire with the radio's ground 3. Plug everything in and you're done Quote Link to post Share on other sites
