Jhello Posted May 28, 2009 Report Share Posted May 28, 2009 Hello! : ) My AVIC-D1 face won't open. This has happened before a few times in the past but has always righted itself after a day or so. This time it has been shut for a few days now and I don't know if it will open this time. I've done many searches and have known/tried a few methods to get it open (reset/wait). I've heard it depends on the temperature, and I've found it does occur more when hot. But like I said it's been about three days now so I don't know what to do. : ) Does any body here have any tips or tricks that may help? Thanks... Quote Link to post Share on other sites

ryan420 Posted July 8, 2009 Report Share Posted July 8, 2009 mine does the same, it seems like when it gets hot outside it does like to open, but in the winter it works great..dunno why lol..there was a face lock on the units so that people cant steal the disks i read on here along time ago..i dunno if its still on the sever or not..if i find it i'll post it here Quote Link to post Share on other sites
