theanswer
I just purchased a "new" f90bt unit and the manufactured date is June 2008. Does this sound right? It has the sticker that says the 2.0 update was applied. I inspected it carefully and the face has no scratches but it did not come with the removable sticker on the faceplate that new touch screens usually come with. i noticed some very light scratches on the side of the unit, hard to tell. I bought this for $520 shipped, I'm not sure if I should complain or keep it. It was purchased from a major retailer but the manufactured date of June 2008 throws me off. Thoughts please. dianebrat
Yes, it's perfectly acceptable to see a build date of 12-18 months prior. They do a few huge runs of a product a year, ship them over to the US as cheaply as possible, and then keep them in the warehouse. The date would not worry me, it having 2.0 is a plus
