patricktheelder
I just completed an install in a 07 H3 Hummer, Gmos-04, W/ Parking Break Bypass. Everything works fine but when I hit the onstar button the AVIC F-90 does a soft reset? Since I used the MUTE wire for the bypass, is this the problem? I also have everything grounded to the main ground in the GMOS-04 Could that be the problem?

1loudls
those onstar harnesses will shut off the ACC power while the onstar is active(which tells the radio to turn off), so radios that do not have a mute wire can still be used with out having to manually turn the volume down, you usually need to cut a wire that goes into a relay and connect that to the mute wire (if equiped) the problem is with most avic users, the mute wire is moved for the bypass. i usually recommend doing the software bypass for GM's with OnStar, or inserting a extra wire into the harness for the hardware bypass
