AWD OWNZ U
Long story short my F700 died and I'm getting an X710 in exchange (not from Pioneer). I need to return all the wiring with my F700. In the vein of laziness I'd just as soon return it with the new wiring from the X710 so I don't have to re-run/re-solder everything. Is there any downside to this or changes that make it impossible. Just want to make sure I'm not about to do something stupid. Thanks, JC
krburrell
Comparing the two installation manuals and looking at the part numbers used for the power cord assy it looks like the wiring harnesses are exactly the same between the two units. You may want to do a quick comparison when you get the new unit but I did not see downside to your approach.
AWD OWNZ U
Thanks! Ya I will check myself when I get it. I would have to pull the wiring harness out of my car this weekend if I was going to remove it, so I'll just wait. Thanks again.
AWD OWNZ U
I got my X710 and it plugs in and works great. In case anyone runs into the same issue.
