I used a best buy harness which suppose to fit to factory harness. well, the nav worked and voice came out. Radio worked great, BUT, BUT CD didn't put out any sound at all. I mean, it is playing since I could see in the display but no sound at all. did anyone faced any probelm like this at all? I do listen to alot of CD since i don't have Ipod and this is killing me. Please help.. Thank you for reading. Dan Plus, does anyone have a correct wiring diagram for 2001 BMW 3 series? I think I am having probelm with wiring... newbreed Posted July 29, 2010 Report Share Posted July 29, 2010 check your blue wire on the bmw/vw harness. its your amp turn on, if you dont have it hooked up to blue white off the radio, then connect it either to that or to your acc(red). that should fix your problem.i am an installer for best buy, and we hear this problem all the time. 1loudls Posted July 29, 2010 Report Share Posted July 29, 2010 sounds like the amp turn on wire to me also, a lot of aftermarket harnesses use a blue wire for there amp turn on wire instead of a blue/white wire that they should have used. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
