RickNC Posted August 18, 2009 Report Share Posted August 18, 2009 I have done the reading on the boards in regards to the 80MT update disks and I had a question. Are the issues limited to disks that are downloaded and burned or have the issues been present in the new disks from Pioneer? I just purchased a "new never opened" East coast 80MT upgrade disk off ebay for my D3 and I must say that I am now a bit touchy about sticking the disk in..... any thoughts would be appreciated, great site! RickNC Posted August 21, 2009 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2009 well.....hung my hat and bought the Pioneer disks off Crutchfield for the standard $120....wasn't worth the risk in my opinion... stuck the east coast disk in and every thing worked like a charm...but, don't know why these disks are $120..Not much difference at all.
