2006fx4 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Share Posted August 28, 2009 Hi I have searched and read over all the other topics but haven't found my answer yet. I have a 2006 F150 FX4 with a D3 installed. My problem is that I cannot get the D3 to dim when i turn my headlights on. When I look at the wiring harness the illumination wire (orange&white) is connect to the dimmer wire from the truck`s factory harness (blue&red). Do i need to connect the white orange wire a different wire? If so which one? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks! Oh and if any one knows why I have a buzz in my factory subwoofer that would be great. I did install the resistor that is recommended on the remote violet&green wire close to the sub.
