Problems at start up screen, wont accept the ok on navi mode

As soon as I turn the unit on and the navi screen comes up and you have to press the OK on the disclaimer, my screen must be out of calibration since i press it many times and it does nothing! I tried the service menu but i can not get to it, i followed the instructions I found here. open the screen up all the way down to the second tray, hit the reset button and then pressed the eject button on the dvd I released the reset and after i got the prompt to hit reset again i released the dvd button then i pressed the joystick up 2x and down 2x and then hit the joystick in down the middle as an enter button i guess and it does Nothing! no service menu or anything in that matter so I can not get to the calibration mode to maybe be able to fix the issue with the first screen that wont allow me to hit the OK button on the navi disclaimer. Any Ideas ? Please Help!
