Suicide Posted September 5, 2009 Report Share Posted September 5, 2009 Hi there. Today i fitted my F900BT into my Saab 9-5 (1997). Every think went great and thanks to this forum learned how to do the hardwire bypass. But i have a problem with my sound settings. When i set up all my sound to how i like them, they work great but when i turn off the car and then back on the sound setting are reset back to default. The unit is keeping all my satnav settings and phone settings it just the sound settings that keeps getting reset every time i turn off the car and then back on Does anyone have any idea whats up ??? DerekL Posted September 5, 2009 Report Share Posted September 5, 2009 Sounds like perhaps your wiring is off - in particular that whereever you have your yellow power wire is actually switched. Recently installed a f90bt in my Saab so went through it myself. Did you use a wiring harness or adapter of some sort? I did, and ended up connecting the yellow wire directly to the battery connector from the car's harness. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Suicide Posted September 6, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 6, 2009 Well i had a look on some saab forums and a lot of people as had to swop the red and the yellow wire over. so red to yellow and yellow to red.
