trance
i have a f700 and have a XM Commander unit hooked up to it to provide the XM. it has its own display so i know that the info will not come up on my f700. the only way i can get it to work was to hook it up to the av1 ports in the rear of my f700. now the problem is when i plug in my ipod into the usb cable all the info comes up on my screen and everything but the audio from my ipod works...instead i either get nothing or the audio from my XM. is this just something that cant be done? running both? or do i just have something hooked up wrong? i know the easy solution would be just to get the Pioneer XM modulator and run my XM through that but i already have a good working XM set up and dont really want to spend the money simply to switch from one XM to another. any help? VBLUE42
The AV1 inputs your using for the XM have to be used for the ipod in order for it to work. You can use the AV2 input on the front of the unit to interface your XM device. The cable below will allow you to use the AV2 input. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... ts/CD-RM10
