Ver 3.01 no voice dialling

OK, my previously excellent voice dialling results (ver 2) have now disappeared after the upgrade to Ver 3.

 

I can control the source, or I can say the digits of a phone number and the unit recognizes it.

 

But try saying "call Sally" and it does not work. No names work. I suspect the VR dictionary is not updating correctly when the contact list is downloaded from the phone.

 

Any ideas on how to fix it? Am I alone in having this issue?

nope same here.,,,I can call out the numbers.... heck it even works when I mumble them on purpose.. (I was actually surprized on this...) I can change the source, but like you , when I say, "call, sally" .. I never get it to work.... I thought it was my cell... it is fun sometimes to say awww fuck you you bitch , to the unit, and it responds.."i didnt get that" lol

It happened to me too.

After updating to 3.0 my voice dialing now does not work properly.

When I say the phone number to dial it will not get the numbers right.

 

Before the update the vioce dialing works flawlessly.

 

Has any one found a fix for this?

I'm having the same problem, I've tried maybe 80 times and 80 times it sucked. I can use the Google 411 and it recognizes almost everything I say so that discounts the microphone. Seems it has to be in the software.
