craigr726
Guys- thanks for taking the time to read this. Hopefully you can help me out! The voice recognition worked for about a week, but seems to have quit. I hook my iPod (120 GB Classic model) to the system. It registers it, updates the VR library and then displays the "VR Library Update Complete" (or something similar) dialog box. All the information is appropriately displayed (playlists are there, artists are there, etc). It still works for the navigation portion of the system, but simply asks "Which artist was that?" I've tried a variety of artists and such to no avail, so now I'm lost. Perhaps I accidentally hit a menu somewhere or did something come loose behind the system. Any ideas? Thank you again. VBLUE42
Unfortunately the VR is, a lot of times, hit or mis. You may want to reset your ipod and re-sync your library.
craigr726
Thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, my Macbook Pro is off at the shop (logic board failure). When it gets back, I'll be sure to try that.
craigr726
Worked like a charm! Thanks!
VBLUE42
Yep, almost every time. This is the general advice I give that seems to solve most inconsistent issues with the ipod and these units. Provided of course there is not an actual hardware failure with ipod.
