MSN Direct & Custon POI Icons

I installed a Z110 in my Explorer LImited a few months ago. Mostly everything is great about it except a few lil bugs that are annoying.. some seem like they should be fairly fixable things, but so far no luck.

 

I'm wondering how long it takes anyone else's MSN Direct info to update? Sometimes mine can be 10-15 minutes before I get News Feeds, Weather, or anything after I power on the unit.

 

Secondly, is there no way to update icons for built-in POIs? Say a grocery store chain you frequent but the POI is only the default orange shopping cart thing. I'm working around it by using Custom POIs but it's sort of annoying.
